Designed for both the beginner and the professional, this dual-ended etching tool is equipped with a scraper and a curved burnisher. The scraper allows you to remove larger areas of your plate, giving you the freedom to redesign your composition or correct stray lines. The burnisher reduces the "tooth" of the surface you are etching and polishes rough surfaces - allowing you to better control highlights and lowlights. The Scraper is made of high carbon steel to create a unified structure that can even be hammered upon during use.
